Radio Community Chest Inc (ABN 80 990 419 897) is a not-for-profit registered charity dedicated to the promotion of choral music and supporting needy people in the City of Sydney. We do this by distributing surpluses from annual performances of Handel’s Messiah to organisations with similar objectives.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear this great work and to participate in what is arguably the most widely performed piece of sacred choral music ever written. Our aim is to continue to make ticket prices as affordable as possible for all who want to hear this Baroque masterpiece.

Radio Community Chest is an all volunteer organisation with a board of honorary directors and a Performance Committee of qualified and dedicated professionals who oversee annual presentations of Handel’s Messiah at the Sydney Town Hall in December each year.
