2025 CHORISTER REGISTRATIONS OPEN JULY 2025
Chorister registrations for our 2025 performances of Handel’s “Messiah” in the Sydney Town Hall on 13th and 14th December at 3.00pm will open in July 2025.
If you would like to be part of this non-auditioning choir in 2025 we encourage you! Both trained singers and enthusiastic amateurs are welcome.
Rehearsals begin Monday 20th October, 2025 at 7.00pm at St Stephen’s Uniting Church, 197 Macquarie Street, Sydney and continue each week until the performances. Finishing time is 8.45pm sharp.
Performances will be at the Sydney Town Hall at 3.00pm on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December, 2025.
2025 chorister registrations will open on 1st July, and you can register online.
2024 PERFORMANCES
Thank you for being part of our 2024 season. We loved performing this wonderful music for the people of Sydney, and were so glad that you were with us – either singing in the choir, being in the audience, or there in spirit!
Profits from ticket sales have been distributed to charities in our community that support the needy and encourage participation in the arts. Thank you to our patrons for your generosity!
You are welcome to join the choir and sing with us in 2025. Experienced choristers and new singers are all welcome, as we share the fun and challenge of singing Messiah together. Registrations open in July and rehearsals begin in October.
Or come and be part of the audience on Saturday 13th December or Sunday 14th December at 3.00pm and celebrate Christmas in Sydney at the beautiful and historic Sydney Town Hall.

The Story of Handel’s Messiah
Handel’s Messiah Sydney rehearses and performs on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We acknowledge First Nations people as the original story tellers and music makers of this ancient land, and celebrate their deep connection to this country.
